Pilot Qualifications
All our pilots hold CAA authorisations and are insured for commercial work. Our insurance is arranged per task to ensure that the correct liabilities are in place.
All flights are planned in detail to take into account controlled airspace, environmental conditions such as SSSI or wildlife and overflight of individuals.
Our pilots carry out this planning as part of our standard rates ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met.
The law changed in December 2021 and drone pilots now require qualifications and insurance for their work (dependant on drone weight). Employing a friend with a drone may no longer be legal but contracting with us gives peace of mind and acknowledgement of all the regulatory requirements and evidence that they are fulfilled.
